In two days, participants will be instructed in the basics of writing, directing, camera and digital editing, and each participant will write, direct, shoot and edit a short film project. The pace of this two days bootcamp is feverish and participants must be prepared to live and breathe filmmaking for the length of their stay. The bootcamp will begin with intensive study in camera, writing and directing. Then, participants will start shooting their individual excercises. On the second day, participants will learn editing and post production. The bootcamp will conclude with a final screening. Through hands on classes and exercises, all participants will gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of filmmaking, as well as experience the exhilaration of seeing a completed project.
