Many of us wish to switch to a plant-based diet but do not know where to start. Even if they are on board with the idea, making this major lifestyle change is a very intimidating thought. Many questions keep lingering the mind every now and then like : Is a vegan diet really healthy? Is it even practically possible to be on this diet forever? Doesn't it conflict with our traditional ancient wisdom? Is it a high maintenance diet heavy on pocket? Are vegan recipes complicated? Can regular working professionals follow it while managing home and kids? Does it mean we have to deprive ourselves and forget festivities and celebrations? Can we follow it while traveling and visiting friends? Hear and learn it all from a working young mother who started her plant-based journey about 3 years ago. We will cover basic essentials and tips to run a vegan kitchen. Recipes will be beginner level. All recipes will be vegan and free from refined sugar, refined oil, and refined flour.
I grew up in Ranchi with fewer toys and more experiences on our house farm. Enjoyed visiting local market and ancestral village and learned to appreciate resources and be grateful to what is on our plate as per season, region, and availability. After finishing schooling in Ranchi, I went on to study Architecture from IIT Kharagpur and later completed PGDM from IIM Kozhikode. I am a digital marketer, working with a leading Indian corporate, and living in Mumbai with husband and daughter
