In three consecutive days (3rd, 4th and 5th July) of this live online experience, participants will be instructed in the basics of film-making through writing and directing. Each participant will write, direct, shoot and edit a short film project. The pace of this workshop is feverish and participants must be prepared to live and breathe film making during these three days. The workshop will begin with intensive study in writing and directing. Then, participants will start shooting their individual exercises. On the first day of the workshop, the participants will create and write their own concepts. On the second day, participants will learn to write their concepts into a full fledged screenplay. The third day would be shooting and directing of the screenplay into a proper short film. Through hands on classes and exercises, all participants will gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of film making. The live sessions will be one hour long, but the whole workshop needs the participants to be active for the 3 days on a private WhatsApp group where you will be guided on each process on an one-to-one basis.
